TUESDAY, April 19th. The lumber arrived in the early morning fog. The driver from La Mesa Lumber was WoJo, and he and Rob had a great time talking coffee roasting and bees (he's a former beekeeper). This is the same WoJo who helped out our neighbors when their power was knocked out by a trailer-moving company. He took his own time and went down the hill (15 miles) to buy gas and deliver it to their generator.
WEDNESDAY, April 20th. Quite a day! Framing began in earnest, and the form of El Estudio took shape. Four packages of bees arrived from the apiary in Dixon, and grandsons Flynn & Ian and mom, Jennifer, arrived from Bakersfield. All is good.
WEEKEND– Rob finished his collage of the week's progress. I am so lucky to have this wonderful man as my life partner. Te amo, Roberto.
